Year 1 Crocodile Encounters
Last week our Year 1 children had a wonderful time learning all about reptiles. The family run Crocodile Encounters care passionately about the conservation of these very special creatures, and believe that by creating an unforgettable real life experience, they can help educate children whilst having a lot of fun in the process.
The children got to handle a bearded lizard, a blue tongued skink lizard, an African tortoise, a corn snake, a python and, of course, a baby crocodile.
Here’s what a few of the children had to say about the experience:
‘The python was my favourite because he was squishy, scaly and the biggest of the animals that I saw.’ Emily (It was 15 foot long!).
‘I liked the python because he was super slimy and scary!’ Mickayla
‘It was the best day ever!’ Eden
