People who help us—The Police

Our Reception children are thoroughly enjoying learning all about people who help us.  They were very excited this morning to have had a visit from the police.  The children learned lots about how to keep safe in a range of scenarios and were reminded the importance of knowing their road name, the number of their house  and the colour of their front door.  The highlight of the visit, for many of the children, was sitting in the police car and also the siren demonstration!  Our thanks to Mrs Cassar and the other police officers who gave so generously of their time to visit us this morning.                                                                                                                                             The Reception Team
