Year 4 Charity Day

On Wednesday last week (and Thursday…because in true Wimbledon style the weather stopped play on our first attempt!) Year 4 took part in a sponsored Wimbledon day in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital. GOSH is a children’s hospital which relies on charitable donations to give world leading specifically to children, changing the lives of thousands, some of which are part of our Tadworth family. At the hospital there is lots to do to make the children who visit smile, and GOSH even look after their grown-ups! The children in year 4 spent two mornings doing some fun tennis themed activities, and were even trained up to be ball-people.

Henry said, “I liked learning about everyone at Great Ormond Street Hospital and how brave some of them were. The tennis was fun and enjoyable – I’d love to do it again!” TT&SH
